About Kate the Cat Sitter, LLC

Kate the Cat Sitter has loved and cared for cats since childhood and feels lucky to have been able to turn her passion into a profession, providing dedicated, reliable pet sitting since early 2022 and starting her own cat focused business in 2025. Kate the Cat Sitter, LLC is insured through Pet Care Insurance (PCI) and Kate is certified by the Red Cross for Dog and Cat First Aid.

Kate has called Clayton, NC home since 2006, where she lives with her husband, two teenage children and two sweet cats. When she is not caring for kitties, you can find her volunteering as a Girl Scout Leader and Troop Treasurer, enjoying a good book, taking care of her plants and aquariums, or spending time with family… but most often with a cat on her lap!

Kate knows that every pet is unique, and she loves getting to know their quirks and preferences so she can make them feel safe, happy, and loved - giving you peace of mind while you're away. Her goal as a pet sitter is simple: to give your pets the love and attention they deserve.
